How to Record
Your Story

Our video tool makes capturing and submitting your story easier than ever. We have just a few tips and tricks to get the best recording from your home, office, dorm, or other environment. Most importantly, be yourself, speak from the heart, and trust that God will use your testimony in amazing ways.

Do your best to record your video in an environment free of competing noise, interruptions or audible distractions. A bedroom, office, kitchen, car or living room are all great!

Telling your story is a bold act of faith, but that doesn’t mean the internet needs to know everything about you. Consider setting up somewhere that does not divulge family information, photos, or place of work details that you’d rather keep to yourself. Be sure that other screens, TVs or foot traffic are not competing with your capture.

Our video recorder makes it simple. Just set up your computer, tablet or phone in a well-lit area and ensure your face is centered in frame and free of any harsh shadows or aggressive fluorescent lights. We also suggest shooting indoors versus outside.

Your story is perfectly imperfect. Don’t put undue pressure on yourself to over-rehearse or script your story. Simply share what God’s been up to in your life and how he’s given you hope for the road ahead. Your capture is capped at 3 minutes, so pray and ask God where to focus your testimony.

While we’re a church that truly values being seen and known, please do not share your last name. You may of course introduce yourself and tell a little about your journey at CCV, but intimate personal information needn’t be included.

FAQ's

Why does CCV encourage people to share their life story?

At CCV, we believe stories are powerful tools God uses to reach hearts. Your journey—through struggles, redemption, healing, or transformation—might be exactly what someone else needs to hear to take a step toward Jesus. When you share what God’s done in your life, you help someone else believe He can do it in theirs.

What kind of stories are you looking for?

Yours. We’re looking for authentic stories of how Jesus has changed your life—big moments or small steps. Whether you’ve overcome addiction, walked through loss, found purpose, or simply started trusting God in a new way, your story has the power to inspire others.

Will my story be posted online right away?

No. Every story goes through an internal review process first. We want to make sure your story is told with clarity, care, and sensitivity—especially when it includes deeply personal experiences. Our team may lightly edit or follow up with you to help communicate it well.

Why do you only use first names when sharing stories publicly?

To protect your privacy and safety online, we only include your first name when sharing your story. In today’s digital world, this small boundary helps ensure your personal information stays personal—while still allowing your testimony to make an impact.

What if my story is too personal to be shared publicly?

We get it—some stories are sacred, complex or still in progress. When you submit your story, you’re not committing to public sharing right away. Our team will review it with care, and if parts are too sensitive, we may hold off or share in a more private or limited way.

Can I submit a story on behalf of someone else?

We encourage everyone to share their own story, in their own voice. If you know someone with an incredible testimony, feel free to invite them to submit it themselves when they’re ready.

What if I’m not a writer or don’t know how to say it “just right”?

No worries—we’re not looking for perfect words, just honest hearts. Start where you are and speak from the heart.

How long should my story be?

Our videos are capped at 3-minutes for a couple reasons. 1) To relieve you the burden of trying to cover the extent of your entire lifetime. Focus on a key season of God’s impact. 2) When sharing testimonies with non-believers outside the church, people may be distracted, disinterested or pressed for time. Practicing a succinct, clear message equips you to plant seeds of hope in others and the chance to journey deeper as your relationship grows.

What happens after I submit my story?

After you submit, our team will carefully review your story. We may reach out to you to clarify details or express any needs for a re-capture. We’ll notify you when the story goes live on our site.

Can I request that my story stay anonymous or only be shared privately?

This page and video library is intended for public viewing. That said, if you’d like to write in or connect with a pastor for a more private experience, we’d more than welcome it.

Please limit your video to 3 minutes or less.

2026 Christ's Church of the Valley

HELPING ARIZONA
CHURCHES TAKE THE
RIGHT STEP

From Surviving to Restoration, Mergers or Replants

OUR MISSION

This ministry of CCV exists to come alongside Arizona churches with encouragement and practical support, at no cost and with no financial strings attached.

We believe the Great Commission is bigger than any one church, so we share what God has entrusted to us (experience, resources, and practical support) to strengthen local congregations through restoration, mergers, and replants. Because our region remains widely unreached, we're committed to coming alongside pastors and leaders with humility, face-to-face care, and proven tools, so a healthy, gospel-centered presence can continue in every neighborhood.

Pastor Larrie Fraley

This ministry is led by CCV Pastor Larrie Fraley, a founding leader of CCV with decades of experience helping churches grow and stay healthy, locally and globally.

More than a consultant, Pastor Fraley and his team come alongside pastors and leaders with a steady presence, wise counsel, and a shepherd's heart to help you discern the next right step.

PATHWAYS

Restoration

Restoration

(Renewing independence)

For churches that want to keep their identity but need renewed health and mission clarity.

We'll sit down with you in person to listen and understand what's really going on, then walk with you through a clear plan to rebuild trust, unite your leaders around the mission, and re-engage your community.

Mergers

(Strengthening through unity)

For churches with strong history and assets, but not enough leadership or momentum to thrive alone.

We'll help you prayerfully explore a healthy path forward and guide the cultural, legal, and financial steps of bringing churches together so you gain renewed strength, shared leadership, and greater impact in your community.

Mergers
Replants

Replants

(Relocating to grow)

For churches that need a fresh start in a new location and under new leadership.

We'll guide you through a thoughtful relocation and relaunch, with clear planning and communication, so your church can begin again with healthy support and a lasting gospel presence.

A FOUR-FOLD
APPROACH

Our heart is simple: to come alongside local churches with humility, prayer, and practical help. We start by building trust with pastors and leaders, then we assess what's happening and make a clear plan. Next, we help you execute with steady communication and support, and we evaluate what's working so you can move forward with confidence. We do this because we believe the local church matters, and we want to see it healthy and fruitful across Arizona.

Pastor Ashley Wooldridge
"Even if CCV doubled its impact to reach 70,000 people, it would only reach 1.5% of the Valley. This vision acknowledges that reaching the entire Valley and our state requires thriving churches throughout our state. Imagine if we are successful and multiple churches grow and are renewed! Jesus would permeate our cities like never before. Families would be transformed, divorce rates and suicide rates would go down, and schools would be lifted up. Everything changes when people find Jesus."
